Your 2 hr lactation consultation can include:
🔹Detailed intake of your health and baby’s health, including pregnancy and birth
🔹Identifying your goals, questions, and concerns
🔹Weighted feed (to the gram)
🔹Observation of breast feeding session, and/or bottle feeding and pumping session
🔹Oral assessment of baby’s suck and tongue function
🔹Real-time strategies for increased comfort and effectiveness feeding
🔹Pump flange fitting (sizes 10-28)
🔹Creation of a feeding care plan that feels feasible
🔹I will also send a copy of your visit notes and care plan to your pediatrician
